Yes, we do offer the opportunity to try out a class one time for free. However, we are not able to hold space for unpaid students if the class reaches capacity with fully registered students.
We require notice 8 hours in advance for cancellations to be eligible for a makeup class. TBD
Our Sunday classes start with kids as young as Nursery School and go through all Elementary School. Our After-School classes are exclusively for kids in grades 4-8.
If you have kids in different grades, we often have programs scheduled so you can drop off multiple kids at the same time.Yes, our Sunday schedule is designed to allow for kids to come to 2 back-to-back classes, so there are 2 hours of programming, with a snack break in the middle, for most grades available.
Your child will learn in-depth science concepts in a fun, hands-on environment. Our programs are a great supplement beyond what is being taught in school, while staying engaging and interactive for the child in our informal science lab setting.
All our instructors are passionate about science education, and work tirelessly to ensure every activity and project is both engaging and educational. They are part of our community and committed to running the programs in full accordance with halacha.
We are committed to your child’s safety at every program. We carefully adhere to all safety requirements of a school, and have additional measures in place to protect your child’s wellbeing while at our programs. Our staff are all screened and trained to adhere to the protocol.
Transportation
Yes, we have transportation options for both our Sunday and After-School programs at a very affordable rate. You can sign up for a ride one-way or both-ways to the program, and in some cases with direct pick-up from your school.
We outsource with Ka-la-ju, a local transportation service, which hires fully vetted drivers and specializies in school transport.
Our transportation vendor hires only fully vettted and background checked drivers. Each vehicle is equipped with live-camera, which is accessible to the dispatch units, as well as GPS tracking, which is provided to parents at every ride. Parents have access to a whatsapp group, where they can communicate directly with dispatch and the driver.
Cost
Yes, we want to ensure that cost isn’t a barrier to your child’s science enrichment. We keep our cost low, but if you need to pay less, contact our office to get a scholarship.
